When should I start taking prenatal vitamins?

Prenatal Vitamins are supplements that contain daily doses of vitamins & minerals you need before and during pregnancy. We recommend taking prenatal vitamins as soon as you are considering getting pregnant. Preferably 1-3 month before you plan on getting pregnant and for those surprise pregnancies, as soon as you get a positive pregnancy test. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀


Folic Acid (400mcg) is one of the most important vitamins to take! It's a form of vitamin B that your cells needs for growing & developing for your baby. Depending on your lifestyle, eating habits, etc. You may need additional vitamins, but we recommend you determine that with your doctor to ensure your body is getting the right amount of nutrients. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀
